September 2011
Don is the husband of Nancy (31 years and counting), the father of two daughters, and grandfather of one. In April, he had two seizures, which sent him into three months of MRIs, doctors appointments, a biopsy, and a surgery to remove 90% of the brain tumor doctors found as a result of the seizures. He has been diagnosed with grade 4 GBM cancer (the most aggressive type and one that tends to come back). Leaning on Christ, Don and his family are pressing on toward aggressive treatment, which will begin September 7. Please pray for strength, comfort, patience, and peace as Don begins this journey. Please pray the same for Nancy as his caregiver and cheerleader. Pray that he and Nancy will feel assurance of what short term and long term treatment route to take. Pray that God will reveal Himself more and more each day to everyone involved and that all will see the good He intends to bring from these challenging circumstances. Don's faith in Jesus has been most tangible through this process, and he has taken the news of his cancer and the challenges of his recovery from surgery with nothing but dignity, maturity, and a sense of humor. No one can do this journey alone; hearing the prayer pager vibrate will be another reminder that not only is God with him, so are his family and friends who are praying on his behalf. Thank you in advance for your prayers and encouragement through the prayer pager.

Now 2011
Dear Prayer Pager Family, God is good. It is now 2011 and I have been healing every day. Since my Bone Marrow Transplant in 2007, I have faced several challenges including Back Surgery, Graph vs. Host disease that was attacking my Liver, and now GVH (Graph vs. Host) disease that is attacking my skin. Prior to my Bone Marrow Transplant in 2007 I met and married my wife, Evelyn. She has been an absolute Angle on Earth and has gone through everything with me every step of the way. After my Back Surgery in 2008, I spent 6 weeks in In-patient Physical Therapy, and Evelyn was there with me every night, and then another 9 months learning how to walk again. We have kept our faith that God had more work for me to do while I am here and we are finally getting closer to being "normal" every day. I am able to walk and stand for limited periods but am getting more stamina all the time. I am still in treatment for my GVH on my skin and in my legs. So your prayers are still needed and each and every one of them is very appreciated. As far as Prayer Pager is concerned, we are, once again, re-organizing our organization to hopefully be able to serve even more patients and families in their time of need. We will be starting an e-mail campaign soon to update our supporters about our patients and progress so if you would like to be included, make sure to click on the "Join" button above and fill out the "Join our Team" form. Our team is full of people who Love God and always remember, GOD LOVES YOU! The power of Prayer is and has worked miracles in the healing process for many of our patients including myself. Blessings, J. Scott Francis Founder – The Prayer Pager Project

He is still playing tennis even now while he is in this battle. He and his family have a very strong faith. He is looking to God to carry him through this but mostly for God to care for his family. Please pray for and page James often to let him know you are in the battle with him.

I am a 67 year old woman with Stage 4 breast cancer. I live in Denver, Colorado. I am divorced and have two adult children, one in PA and one in CA. I have no relatives living nearby. I enjoy my two little dogs and volunteer for a rescue organization. In the past, I have been an active volunteer/advocate for cancer groups, scouts, and the Denver Zoo. I love to travel and enjoy water sports, reading and crafts. I am a member of All Saints Lutheran (ELCA) Church in Aurora, Colorado. My church buoys me up and gives me hope. I believe that cancer can be defeated with abundant faith and attitude, coupled with a little medicine. In the years since I was first diagnosed, prayer has brought me safe this far.

Jeff is 48 years old and lives in Houston, Texas. He is battling lung cancer. He was diagnosed in August, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He is married to Julie and they have six children: Madison (16), Natalie (14), Melanie (11), Emma (8), Frannie (5) and Ford (3). They are members of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. Jeff is a diehard Aggie fan, and loves to watch football……especially with his son Ford. He has been responding well to the treatment so far, and has many vigilant prayer warriors praying for him. We believe God is blessing him with the miracle of healing so that he can go on to bless others. Please pray for Jeff’s complete healing…..that the chemo destroys every last cancer cell in his body and that they never return. In Jesus, the Ultimate Healer’s name. Amen.

Sean Lambert, As a 43 year old wife, mother and business owner that seemed to be in good health, life was moving along quite well. On June 26th 2010 My wife Michelle coughed up some blood and that is when life changed. With no symptoms to aid in early detection, Thyroid cancer had been growing for quite some time. She was diagnosed at St Luke\'s Hospital of Boise Idaho in early July with stage IV papillary carcinoma. That is medical speak for Thyroid cancer that had spread to her lungs. So our fight began and the need for our already strong faith in Christ was more powerful than ever. Michelle has spent her adult life providing therapy to disabled children in the field of Autism. Now she is the one in need. Thankfully, due to the lack of her symptoms Our 6 year old son has been spared the type of worry and fear that no child should have to experience. For us it\'s a different story. We place our faith in God and feel blessed that there are others willing to pray for a complete stranger. I! feel this prayer pager ministry is a special gift from the Lord to help strengthen us. Bless you all and thank you for being kind and loving children of Christ.

My mother is a person who has always lived her life, with grace, dignity, love, and faith. She has been a nurse for many years and her biggest job has been raising her four grown children. My mother is the person who always helps other and takes care of others. We are all shocked be her terrible illness. My mother was a vibrant and healthy 68 year old one day and then several days later we found out that she has a terminal GBM brain tumor. My mother is in a hospital receiving two weeks of treatment and then I will take care of her when she can be in Hospice. I guess it doesn\'t surprise me that my mother would not let a \"tumor\" slow her down. My mother has always had a strong faith and attends church every week. My mother is my best friend and I don\'t know what I will do without her. Please pray that my mother doesn't suffer to much in the end and please pray that her family can go on without her. Thank you so much.
